Memorandum of Co-operation for managing the demand and supply of adult social care professional agency workers

A memorandum of co-operation (MoC) exists to manage the supply and demand and the associated costs of using professional adult social care staff from employment agencies. The MoC focuses on agreeing a cap for the rates to be paid by SE councils to agencies for professional adult social care staff.

Purpose

The Principal Social Worker (PSW) Network leads social work practice across the region and provides a forum for the region’s PSWs to collaborate to drive improvement, support professional development and promote excellence. The network meets bi-monthly.
