This privacy policy explains how ‘we’ (ie South East Association of Directors of Adult Social Services) use any personal information we collect about you from the South East ADASS website and our MS Office platform, for example MS Teams channels, Sharepoint and Outlook.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect, store and use your personal information in order to deliver the South East ADASS sector-led regional improvement programme to our member councils. The information will include your name, job title, email address, phone number and organisation and, where you interact with our website, your IP (Internet Protocol) address.

- submit information by other channels that we use
- become a member of the SE ADASS Branch or one of our networks
- register on the ADASS South East website
- submit an enquiry, survey response or feedback via our website or by email
- register, book and/or attend an event

We collect information about you in order to answer queries relating to the website, to administer our membership records, to communicate with directors and network members on issues relevant to the work of SE ADASS, to invite and facilitate attendance at ADASS events, and to administer the business of SE ADASS. This information may need to be shared with third parties, in order to carry out the above purposes, but only where absolutely necessary.
Whenever we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we always take account of your Personal Data rights. You have the right to object to this processing and to be removed from our system. Please bear in mind that if you do so, this may affect our ability to carry out tasks above for your benefit.
South East ADASS will not share your information for marketing purposes with other organisations. We will only share your details with an external organisation if this is required for an activity for which you have signed up, for example we may need to share some of your details with a venue or an events company if you are due to attend a South East ADASS event at an external venue, or if the event is being held in partnership with another organisation.
How is your information stored?
We store and process personal information securely through our IT systems which are managed with all appropriate technical and organisational measures by Oxfordshire County Council.
