SE ADASS networks are a key part of our regional improvement programme.
Our networks bring together colleagues from our 18 councils, and some also involve partner organisations. The purpose of our networks is to:
- support shared learning by sharing information and what works
- provide peer support and enable councils to discuss and articulate challenging issues and risks and shared solutions
- accelerate implementation of new legislation and effective practice
- contribute to the development of national policy
- enable benchmarking for improvement and growth across the region
- establish, recommend and monitor regional improvement priorities
- promote and support coproduction, collaboration and peer to peer learning
- offer a critical friend role
Most networks meet quarterly, with some meeting more frequently, depending on the network’s work programme. Network meetings are usually virtual, although some networks meet face-to-face once a year. Networks are generally chaired by a Director or Deputy/Assistant Director from one of our councils with support provided by the SE ADASS regional team. We also work with some ADASS Associates to support our network activity. There is further information about the networks on each of the network pages.
